Disneyland Tips and Tricks

Strollers larger than 31" (79 cm) x 52" (132 cm), stroller wagons and wagons are not permitted in the parks. If you forget yours or find later in the day you need a stroller, Disney offers stroller rentals. Click here for stroller rentals. Both Disneyland parks have Baby Care Centers that provide a comfortable, quiet place for diaper changing, nursing and feeding. Click here for Baby Care Centers. Look for the family restrooms for kid sized toilets.

Times and days vary by season, so check back here for September specific hours/days – or the Disney app! Fireworks: Currently Disneyland has a fireworks show - weather permitting. Fantasmic: Right on the Rivers of America in Frontierland in Disneyland - Featuring a fantastical array of live performers, beloved Disney characters, enhanced special effects, state-of-the-art projections and pyrotechnics. World of Color (California Adventure Park): A breathtaking water show, with projections right on the water “Screen” and music from the Disney/Pixar/Star Wars movies we know and love.

Mobile order: You do not need to use mobile order, but it is available to help you save time in the food lines. Mobile order is a way to place food orders at quick service restaurants – this will save you in some cases 30 minutes. Mobile ordering can be done on the Disneyland app – you can choose your time, restaurant, and food you would like – first thing in the morning or just before, if you like to plan your meals, or yummy treats before you get hungry. Food and drinks can be taken into parks! Use this for on the go snacks and drinks. A bottle of water can cost you $4, so a refillable water bottle is a good idea (there is water fill stations throughout) to stay hydrated. Coolers smaller than 6-pack sized can be taken into the theme parks for convenience – but no loose ice, or glass containers allowed. You can bring in sandwiches, snacks, drinks, or anything you may want.
